Mantensei Kinoko

Kinoko means mushroom. Touda-san, the kuramoto or brewery owner, is a self-proclaimed fungi investigator, and this limited release was built to sit alongside mushroom and umami-driven cooking. Brewed with 100% local rice.

Cocoa and dried porcini on the nose, with orange peel, mulling spice, and caramel. Coffee, nuts, and an earthy note on the finish.

Chilled, at room temperature, or warmed. Good with wild mushroom risotto, coq au vin, or pork soup dumplings.
