Nanbu Bijin Special Junmai

Nanbu Bijin Tokubetsu Junmai was named Champion Sake at the 2017 International Wine Challenge. The brewery sits in a town of 28,000 in Iwate, where the rice and water come from the same valley. Pecan, peach cobbler, and marshmallow on the nose, velvety on the palate, with a quiet umami mid-palate and a dry, lingering finish.
