Matsunoi Lone Pine Tokubetsu Junmai

Matsunoi is one of the smallest breweries in Niigata, and it has taken more gold medals at the national sake competition than any other brewery in the prefecture, including 2007, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, and 2015. Production is small enough that most of it never leaves Tokamachi, the town where it's made.

A shy nose with a hint of the sea. Dry, earthy, complex.

Chilled, at room temperature, or slightly warm.
